2010 November Prayer and Praise

PASTOR CONFERENCES — CUBA
Les and Carolyn Thompson will be in Cuba November 21 – December 1. Pastor conferences will be held in four cities with some 600 pastors expected to attend:
1. Sancti Spiritus
2. Santa Clara
3. Havana
4. Pinar del Rio

Pray for safety, wisdom, understanding, and health as so many pastors will be attending who need to be encouraged, comforted and fed spiritually. As Les returns to his birthplace once again, pray for him to be one who gives them words of hope and joy as they remain faithful to their callings. Some will be seasoned pastors and many will be young pastors who are beginning house churches.

PASTOR PIG PROJECT – CUBA
Pray that we will have the joy of taking in the funds needed to help supply a pig for at least 50 of the pastors.

HANDBELLS TO CUBA
The Thompson Family played handbells through their growing up years. Instead of sitting in a closet, the family is sending them to Havana where their beautiful sounds will go out into the street. Pray the beautiful sounds of bells will attract people to enter the church to also hear the sweet sound of the gospel. Also pray they will have no problem getting them through customs.

PASTOR CONFERENCE – NICARAGUA
Thank the Lord for a wonderful conference in Managua last month. Almost 200 pastors and leaders attended for 2 ½ days to learn more of God’s Word, biblical counseling, and biblical science. The pastors say they learn more and are helped more at this conference than any other in their country. All of them were given our Guia Pastoral, a notebook full of pastoral helps that will give them knowledge and understanding of God’s Word throughout their ministries.

LOGOI WEBSITE
Our new website is growing everyday with new registrants, new resources, new friendships. Pastors throughout the Spanish world are learning to use all the resources and are thrilled. We also VERY MUCH need your prayers that we will have the ability to keep it operating smoothly as we implement some much needed improvements. Pray also for English speaking people to join us in this exciting “New Way to Do Missions.”
