SPCK Publishing

SPCK produces a broad range of Christian books. The range includes liturgy, theology, science and religion, biblical studies and spirituality, academic and student texts as well as stationery and books for a popular market, with resources for clergy, parishes and study groups.

We aim to cover a diversity of Christian traditions from the Catholic to the evangelical, the conservative to the liberal. We hope to encourage responsible debate through these books, offering spiritual and intellectual development, as Christians and enquirers seek to understand the faith and its response to current issues in the Church and in the world.

The Society has been involved in publishing since its foundation in 1698, making it the country’s third oldest publisher (after the University Presses of Oxford and Cambridge).
