Neal Hegeman

A missionary for twelve years in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Hegeman has a M.Div. (Calvin Seminary), D.Min. (Westminster Seminary) and a Ph.D in Christian Thought (American University of Biblical Studies). Cofounder of the Theological School at the Evangelical National University. He is the Academic Dean of Miami International Seminary in Miami, Florida. He served as Ligionier Ministries director in Canada prior to coming to Miami. He is a prolific author of Christian history as The Origin and Development of Presbyterian and Reformed Churches and Mission in the Caribbean and Latin America (1528-1916) and Ethnic Disfranchisement. The History of the Christian Reformed Church in the Dominican Republic (l980-1990) among other 15 theological text books.

He’s married to Sandy, they have three children, Katrina, John and Melinda.
