The Colombian writer and pastor Aristomenes Porras, also known by the pseudonym of Louis D. Salem and Uriel D. Azur, died Tuesday July 1, 2003 in Mexico City. Porras —Luis— who was 86 years old, was editor of the Bible in the Americas for 22 years, and newspaper columnist of the Excelsior and Ultimas Noticias since 1976. He lived in Mexico with his wife Gabrielina, for many years.
He published 22 books, including: Mystical Garden, The hidden God of the liberators, and Woman in the Bible.
