Juana B. de Bucana served as professor of church history as well as a conference speaker on missionary work. She received her doctorate in history at the Javeriana University in Santa Fe, Bogota, Colombia in 1981. She was from England but became a Colombia citizen in 1984. She wrote the best seller La iglesia evangelica en Colombia: Una historia [The evangelical church in Colombia: A History].
