Rev. José Miguel Martíz got the Thir Place on the LOGOI’s 2007 Literary Contest with his article The Importance of Christmas. José is pastor of the “Philadelphia Baptist Church” in Santiago de las Vegas, in the Cuban capital of Havana. He serves as vice president of the Baptist Convention of Western Cuba and the Caribbean Area Coordinator of the “International Comission” Ministry. It is also COMIBAM’s representative in Cuba. His wife and children are also involved in the Christian ministry.
