J. Oliver Buswell Jr., (1895-1977), presbyterian theologian and educator, was president of Wheaton College and later, dean at Covenant Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri where he served from 1956 to 1970. He is well known for his writings, especially his volumes on Systematic Theology, which are still widely used today.
