Gerald Nyenhuis and James P. Eckman

Dr. Gerald Nyenhuis was professor and head of the Department of  Liberal Arts at the Iberoamericana University in Mexico. He is pastor of the Berith Church in Mexico City. He has also taught at the John Calvin Presbyterian Seminary in Mexico.  Dr. Nyenhuis completed his studies and postgraduate work  in seminary and universities in the United States, Spain and Mexico.  He has written many articles and books, including The God We Worship (El Dios que adoramos), one of the texts used in the FLET program.

Dr. James P. Eckman serves as President as well as Professor in Theology, Ethics, and History at Grace University in Omaha, Nebraska. He holds degrees from Millersville University (B.S.), Lehigh University (M.A.), Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.), and the University of Nebraska (Ph.D.). An ordained minister, Dr. Eckman’s specialty is historical theology, with an emphasis on the American church and revivalism. In addition to hosting a weekly radio program, “Issues in Perspective,” he lectures widely on postmodern-era implications for the Christian community.
