CUBA PLANE CRASH
We have been told there were twenty evangelical pastors among the 110 dead after a plane crash in Cuba left only three survivors. One of the three survivors has since died bringing the death toll to 111.
The Boeing 737 burst into flames shortly after take off from Havana on Friday and crashed near Jose Marti International Airport on the outskirts of the capital.
The pastors and their wives were on their way home to Holguin after a special conference with their Nazarene Church. What a loss for the children left behind. Even though we do not know these pastors and wives or the others killed in this horrific plane crash, we grieve for such a loss and ask you to join us as we pray for comfort and strength for all who are suffering this great loss.
Other countries such as Mexico, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and Colombia continue to make news for their severe troubles and dangers—some in a particular area and others have spread nation-wide.
What a privilege it is for LOGOI to be able to reach places where it is extremely dangerous with encouragement and help from God’s Word. They are often our most active ministry areas and countries.
On this, our 50th year, it is such a great blessing to see how LOGOI has faithfully served the Spanish world all these years. Here are a few old photos reminding us of God’s faithfulness these past 5 decades as LOGOI has helped “equip the saints” to do His work.
Thank you for help and faithfulness, too! What a blessing you are to many!
