- A group of seven students in the rural area of Quillota, Chile just finished their first FLET Bible course. (Quillota is a city located in the Aconcagua River valley of central Chile known for its wonderful avocados.) Rejoice with all of us! The pastor wrote, “…We have been very blessed to learn more deeply about God and His Word through this course. Now we want to begin another course…”
They all received a certificate like this:xx
- We also had visitors from Cuba last month. We were full of questions about how things are going now with new “freedoms and travels.” Their responses were the same as they have been for the past 40 years: it is still hard to find food, medicine, soap, etc. Tourists are there to enjoy what Cubans wish they had and tourists are mostly required to remain in tourist areas. The church continues to grow and our LOGOI/FLET materials are still being used throughout the island. They would like us to get back for a visit next year. We would appreciate your prayers for this country 90 miles away from Key West.
- The major Spanish Christian Bookseller’s Convention is this month. Al Valdes, our LOGOI professor, will be giving a course for any who wish to attend. Pray for us as we introduce LOGOI to an entire new generation at this large international event.
